Park City has received reports of scammers stealing people’s identities in order to fraudulently file for state unemployment benefits. Those who have been targeted receive an unexpected deposit in their account, and the scammers either remove the money or deceive the victim into returning the money to the wrong place.
Please track your account activity using Park City’s mobile app or our online banking system. If you notice an unexpected deposit, contact Park City immediately at 715-536-8351opens phone dialer. If you receive a phone call from a potential scammer, please contact us immediately BEFORE transferring the deposit in question or giving someone access to your account.
